These people are stealing from innocent people and falsely advertising their appearance. DO NOT WASTE your time here. PLEASE!!!
How would you describe perfection? Whatever that may be, it's what The Essex brings to the table. This place is great whether you are coming for a family vacation, a romantic getaway or getting some alone time. The staff is always friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to help you out. The food is out of this world at both of their restaurants and the bar has a great selection of beer. I've been here three times already and my family can't wait to go back again. Try booking through Travelocity as they tend to have great deals. Also pet friendly, just let them know you're bringing your furry friend with you when you book.
For the amount we payed for the room it wasn't worth it. Stayed here for a wedding and even with the discounted price was way more expensive than what it was worth. The shower was not fully cleaned, the basket that the shampoos were in had black mold at the bottom, the door I had to slam shut to make sure it actually shut or it would stay partially open. Trash can in the bathroom I had to search for. I was surprised that breakfast was not included which was disappointing considering the amount that I payed for the room. The front desk staff was super rude. They didn't hand things out to the wedding guests like they said they would. All around disappointing, could have paid less and gotten better quality and more at a different hotel.
This has to be the worst hotel experience ever. Online, they make this resort seem like a 4 star hotel it is NOT! It is false advertisement. The rooms are cold, the staff are very rude, it's over priced and smells old. Our toilet was clogged and overall, we were not comfortable. Please, to the hard working families out there, do not waste your hard earned money on this place.
Went here for a brunch. While they could hold a large group, the wait staff seemed very confused. We had to ask for simple things like water, salt and pepper, butter, silverware. They never brought it out in a timely fashion or together, often asking us how many we wanted. Everyone who ordered some type of eggs Benedict had at least one egg if not both that were over cooked. I would not recommend this place for brunch.
This was a great weekend getaway. At first room was disappointing that is why its not 5 star. I would say go gor cheapest room because the pictures are not accurate. Otherwise everything else was perfect. Staff super friendly, spa treatments relaxing, outdoor hot tub awesome! The best thing was dinner at Junction. It was not busy so we sat at the chefs table totally fun. Steven and Patrick are amazing chefs and it was possibly one of the best ever. Price point I thought was very acceptable for all that you get. I agree with other reviews that room is not worth price but everything else was.
