This has been the worst customer service experience of my life! I ordered an oven over a month ago. I was told it would be delivered in 2 weeks. I took a day off of work the day it was supposed to be delivered. I received no phone calls from Lowe's and when I called them they told me that it had been delayed for 3 weeks. I got a new delivery date and again, with no phone call or information from Lowe's the oven did not get delivered. I now have a new delivery date in another week, six weeks from the day I ordered it. Just now I was told that it's back ordered. I wish somebody had told me that 6 weeks ago or at least had the courtesy to call me and tell me that it had been delayed.
Awful service. Employees clearly don't want to be there. Communication is very poor especially when it comes to the installation services. When we called and spoke with the assistant store manager, he did not seem to be overly concerned when we said that we would never do business with Lowe's again. He did not want to take responsibility for the fact that the service we had paid for over a month ago had still not been delivered. Dealing with Lowe's has been highly unpleasant. I will be cancelling my Lowe's credit card today. Will never go back.
In the age where you can buy anything from the web, retailers must provide more. I keep coming back to Lowe's because of the consistently high quality of the people.
I called early April to get one bedroom carpeted. It is now June, and still no carpet. Every step of the way, I have called and moved the process along myself. On most occasions, if I didn't call Lowe's or the installer, I wouldn't have heard back from anyone. They also use outside installers who are overwhelmed with work and can't handle the workload, so I am now at their mercy for an install. I normally use Home Depot for carpet installs, and will going forward. Home Depot carpet installs are a breeze, and caused no inconvenience for me.
I went in looking for a band saw blade and I coukdnt find the right blade for my saw. So I went to pro services to get assistance and I asked the gentleman if I could get someone to cone help me find the right one. And I was very surprised when he replied "I don't know how I can help you. You need to go measure your your machine." very dissapointed I said never mind I will figure it out in my own. I already knew the measurement of the blade I need just couldn't find it in the store. So I walked around a bit and ended up finding more blades on my own and found the right size. Nice to have the right blade in stock. Wish the customer service was better tho.
