The food is typical decent fast food, and the service is good enough. The major issue with this particular store is that, for some reason, the air conditioning and heating systems appear to be either non-functioning or non-existent. The time before last that I was there, it was hot outside, and unbearable inside. The last time I went, the outside temperature had dropped to the high twenties, and inside it was freezing. It makes it very difficult to enjoy a meal, and makes my family hesitant to go at all.
I went back two days later, and used the drive thru. The experience was similar, except that I did get some lukewarm-ish burgers and lackluster fries as a result. I'm over this place, and recommend that you skip it until the management is better.
I went to Wendy's last night, asked for chili but was told there was none. I saw the order of the person ahead of me in the drive-through when I pulled up and they ordered two large chilies so I was a bit confused. Asked for bacon cheese fries and they were "out of the cheese" so I just got nuggets that they gave me no sauce even though I asked for some. Went back today to get the same order, came home to realize there was a good 2 bites worth of cheese and bacon on my fires. The county fair was also here so I realize it it was busy but I feel like they could be putting a little more effort.
My husband went to pick me up chili, which they were out of. They told him this at 11:42 in the drive through. So he pulled off and called me to see if I wanted something else, no big deal they run out all the time. But then he pulled through again and they told him they were closed and it was only 11:45! If I'm not mistaken it's supposed to be 12, a few minutes til fine. But why would you claim you're closed after you knew he would be back while you're still open and he was being courteous by pulling off. He decided to not waste their time and instead they wasted his. Terrible service and a bunch of jerks if you ask me. Wish we had another Wendy's close by.
Management is rude, a tall older guy that works drive thru is rude ass hell . My issues have been cold and half cooked fries, I ask for certain condiments not to be added and yet they don't listen, meat is old and crusty, nuggets are disgusting. You name it... it happens. Btw, their cleanliness is very lacking. As a person who runs a business, where the hell is their district manager or any higher up above the general manager? Something seriously need to be done there. Change management and hire people who are clean, look clean, and want to actually work. Oh on a side note, I pull up to drive thru, there is 2 cars in front of me and after 15 min I see the same crosseyed guy coming from the dumpster area throwing out a smoke, goes in and after 2 minutes... lo and behold the drive thru lone starts moving as miraculously now there is someone taking orders. I pulled up to the window and same smoker dude is taking the orders. So all 4 cars sat in drive thru for 20 min waiting for him to finish his smoke. Probably didn't even wash his hands. I ended up throwing the food out bc is useless reporting it to the managers. Not to mention their prices.
Terrible management, unfortunately. This place is usually a pick over the competing neighborhood restaurants but last week had occasion to stop here and the experience was wrecked by the person who was "managing" at the time, tattooed, loud guy. Chastising employees while they were taking orders, generally making the process very rough and kind of embarrassing. I walked out before completing my order.
